旧製粉所と隣接するオフィスビルを59戸の住宅へと再生するファサードおよび共用部計画。
既存構造を可能な限り活かしながら、増築とファサードの改修により水平性の強い外観に垂直リズムを与え、住宅用途にふさわしい表情へと再構成しました。

塗装煉瓦や露出コンクリート、ラーチ材、テラゾーやウォールナットの仕上げにより、素材の触感と秩序を強調。ロビーや階段、回廊といった“あいだ”の空間にも同様の設計言語を展開し、公共と私的領域をつなぐ空間の質を高めました。周辺の街並みや河川景観と呼応しながら、歴史と新しい住まいの姿を結び直すプロジェクトです。A façade and common space project in Horsham, UK, transforming a former flour mill and adjacent office building into 59 apartments. Retaining as much of the existing structure as possible, a new vertical rhythm was introduced to counter the dominant horizontality and re-establish the buildings within the townscape.

A restrained material palette—painted brick, exposed concrete banding, larch cladding, terrazzo, and walnut—emphasises tactility and proportion. The same architectural language extends into the lobbies, staircases, and connecting walkways, strengthening the relationship between public realm and private dwelling. The project reconnects the historic mill with its urban and riverside context through careful architectural and landscape interventions.
